Janice Calnan, M.ED, RHB

Janice, Author, Master Facilitator and RHB (real human being) specializes in coaching executives and their teams. Her work helps managers improve their productivity and profit by changing how they think and how they behave as leaders.

Janice has coached senior executives at General Motors in Michigan and co-facilitated management and senior team development in the auto, high-tech and aerospace industries. Her clients learn to use synergy, intuition and human relationships, skills not taught in MBA schools. As a result they become more masterful and fulfilled human beings who positively influence the financial health of their organization.

Janice completed a Masters Degree in Counseling from McGill University in Montreal and went on to do post graduate work with Total Quality pioneer, Dr. W. Edwards Deming, Ron Lippitt, co-founder of NTL Kathie Dannemiller, Whole Scale™ Change, Total Quality pioneer, Dr. W. Edwards Deming and Jean Houston, Mystery School.

Her experience as a pediatric nursing instructor and psychotherapist, her knowledge of human change and her demonstrated record in executive development bring a deep understanding about how family, personal connections and work relationships ‘really work’ inside companies. When managers learn to change themselves first, they also discover how to positively impact productivity, creativity, quality and profit in their organization.

Her book SHIFT: Secrets of positive change for organizations and their leaders , published by Creative Bound Inc., constitutes a plan of action for readers to recognize how they contribute to difficult situations. They learn to move forward in a more purposeful, effective and rewarding manner. Janice lives in Ottawa Ontario, Canada.
